The Status of French

French is the only language used in five continents in parallel with English.

In the five continents of the world, 200 million people speak French.  French is a major language used for international communication, and it is a foreign language with the largest number of learners after English. French ranks ninth among the languages with the largest number of users in the world.  French is also the second largest foreign language taught on all continents after English.  There are 68 French-speaking countries and governments around the world.  As a result, France has the largest network of cultural institutions abroad, which teach French to 750,000 people.

The ability to speak French and English is a trump card in many industries in France and French-speaking countries (sales, automobile, luxury goods, aviation, etc.).  France is the fifth largest trading country in the world, attracting numerous entrepreneurs, researchers and the best foreign students.

Being able to speak French enables you to keep up with the learning courses in famous French universities (such as Sorbonne University, Pierre and Marie Curie University, etc.) or large schools (such as the Higher Business School of Paris, the University of Technology, and the Higher Business School of Essex, France), which usually have lower tuition fees.  Students who master a French language can also enjoy scholarships from the French government under certain conditions, so as to continue any professional studies in the third stage in France and finally obtain internationally recognized diplomas.
